| Dungog/Clarence Town Country Women’s Association will be hosting its 5th annual QUILTARAMA on the 11th and 12th of September 2010 where there will be over 50 amazing quilts on display. Many of these quilts are by local residents and will never again be seen in a public forum. These are truly works of art and anyone seeing them will realize the passion and love that goes into creating each and every one. They are diverse and range from the classic floral bedcover to quirky wall hangings so there is definitely something that will appeal to everyone. As well as the quilt exhibition there will also be Demonstrations, raffles and representation by Craft shops from around the region where you can purchase unique and beautiful ready-made items as well as all of the essentials to be able to create your own masterpiece. All of this makes the day a must see for anyone interested in quilting or even just for those who want to do something a little different on the weekend. |
